A small, family-owned winery located in the Napa Valley district of Rutherford, California, Bello Family Vineyards has been producing quality wines for more than 15 years. The winery’s first product, a cabernet sauvignon, benefited from the rich soil of the Napa Valley and premium winemaking materials imported from France. Cabernet sauvignon remains one of the company’s most popular and acclaimed wines. In 2014, Wine Enthusiast Magazine named Bello Family Vineyards 2010 Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon as a Cellar Selection. The publication gave Bello’s Napa Valley Cabernet 90 points and its Rutherford Cabernet 92 points. These Cabernets and Bello’s Sonoma Mountain Chardonnay also received an enthusiastic response from Wine Spectator magazine.
Another of the company’s creations, the Megahertz Cabernet Sauvignon, features firm tannins, balanced acidity, and overtones of black cherry, plum compote, semisweet chocolate, and dark roast espresso beans. The 2009 Megahertz Cabernet received a 90-point Robert Parker rating and a 90-point Stephen Tanzer rating.
