Bello Family Vineyard opened in 2001 under the operation of Michael Bello with assistance from winemaker Ross Wallace and general manager Christopher Bello. The family-owned business produces a small selection of extraordinary wines using grapes grown in Rutherford, California, and supports a number of community organizations outside normal operations. For instance, the Bello Family Vineyard supports the California Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA), a child welfare group that gives a voice to children in the foster care system.

CASA is preparing for its Lifting Hearts fundraiser, which engages donors and sponsors in an afternoon of music, food, and charitable support. The business casual event will include delicious hors d’oeuvres and feature wines and specialty beers grown and produced locally. A live charity auction will serve as the afternoon’s primary fundraising event, for which attendees can donate items. Donors and sponsors unable to attend the event may also make monetary donations. Funds raised will benefit CASA’s 44 child welfare and support programs and help with the volunteer recruitment, training, and retention.

Attendees may purchase an individual ticket for $25 or host a group of four or more persons. Group rates vary depending on the number of persons within the group with options ranging between four to 20 individuals. Additionally, sponsors may select from a number of sponsorship levels between $500 and $10,000. Each level includes a predetermined number of tickets, recognition at the event, among other benefits.
